Lighting comes to the fore in the evolution of Ankara Borusan Showroom towards the ‘Retail Next’ concept. The goal is clear: to create an environment where customers feel welcome and truly at home while exploring the exclusive world of BMW cars, motorcycles and services. Our lighting design consept was important in achieving this vision. We knew that exceptional lighting not only enhances the visual appeal of vehicles, but can also play an important role in creating the right environment for an unforgettable customer experience.

One of the challanges we encountered was the height of the space. Powerful, high CRI luminaires supported with high cut-off reflectors were used along with a variety of LED fixtures to ensure each vehicle gets the attention it deserves. These precise lighting solutions are strategically positioned to ensure the best visual performance in each vehicle, regardless of its location in the showroom.
Thus, a light that not only highlights the elegant curves and impeccable details of BMW series, but also draws visitors into a dynamic and engaging visual experience formed by light and shadow symphony. Whether it’s the iconic lines of the BMW 3 Series or the bold presence of the X5, our lighting design allows every vehicle to shine.
Circular suspended luminaire to highlight the special interaction points with a 3,5m diameter, specially developed with local bespoke manifacurer is also a part of the new retail approach of BMW.
‘Retail Next’ is not just about cars; It’s about people. We understand that a true automotive journey is not only functional but also deeply personal. To simplify this connection, we integrated a variety of decorative and technical lighting details throughout the showroom.
Every area where people connect with each other or interact with cars is carefully lit to create a more intimate and personal atmosphere. Whether it’s lounge areas where costumers discuss their dream BMWs or interactive areas where they examine the technical details of the vehicles, our lighting design ensures that every moment is enriched with the perfect balance between aesthetics and funtionality. The play of light and shadow, combined with a choice of sophisticated decorative equipment, transforms the showroom into a place where customers not only explore the cars but they can truly experience them.
