Avolux Tone
The story begins with a need for a suspended luminaire on a meeting with Mustafa Toner at Toner Architects. The name ‘Tone’ is an inspiration from that meeting.
It can easily be adaptable to interior design and timeless, simple in section. Both direct and indirect adjustable light distribution based on a specially painted aluminum body, able to be used in long spans of distances, built-in DALI drivers, and Bluetooth equipment.
As there were already alternatives in the market for a long time as a light track but none of them gave us the combination of the update technological possibilities plus the indirect upper part with rechargeable lenses specially designed for LEDs. We came together on a table where an architect, a lighting designer, luminaire producer, and component producers to develop a simple but effective luminaire.
