Izmir Sustainability Center National Competition

The architectural competition for the Sustainability Hub (S-Hub), organized by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, concluded on 26 October 2023. The project, for which we provided lighting consultancy, was awarded First Honorable Mention by the jury.

In this sustainability-driven proposal, lighting was approached not only as a technical requirement, but as an integral part of the design strategy supporting energy efficiency, user comfort, and spatial quality. The balance between natural and artificial light formed an important part of the project’s sustainable architectural approach.
